The story of Simutek starts in 1977.
Mike Gariepy was writing personal computer games to sell on then-commonly-used cassettes. The first store opened in 1979 selling and serving Apple products.

In 1984, when the first Mac desktop was released, Richard Nast took over and brought Simutek to new heights. We received our Apple Authorized Service Provider status—a testament to our commitment to top-quality customer service.

Today, Simutek is owned by Rich Meindl, who started in the company as a cashier in 1991 and soon fell in love with the business.
